Nominations for election to the BMA's Medical Students Committee are opening on Thursday 6th April.
Every year the BMA holds elections at all UK medical schools to elect BMA student representatives and deputies at each medical school. BMA student representatives make up the BMA medical students committee and attend quarterly meetings at BMA House in London. It’s an exciting and important opportunity to represent students’ views both locally and nationally. One BMA student rep and one deputy rep is elected for each medical school by the student BMA members at that school. Deputy BMA student representatives may be asked to deputise for the BMA student representative at MSC meetings from time to time, amongst other functions.
Once nominations are open on Thursday 6 April you will also be able to nominate yourself online. Online voting will be open in June and all BMA student members will be notified by email to alert them when to vote.
