A new choir called the National Health Singers, mainly junior doctors but including a couple of Barts finalists, have come together to and recorded an original single called Yours which celebrates the NHS and protests against the unsafe and unfair junior doctor contracts.
We're singing for the survival of the NHS, and we'd love your support by buying our single on iTunes/ Google Play/ Amazon, the proceeds of which will be donated to medical charities. You can also find the official music video on Youtube, with a special introduction by actor and vocal NHS supporter Michael Sheen.
The originators George Wood and Julia Grace Patterson (both junior doctors) managed to gain the support of Mark De-Lisser (The Voice, The Naked Choir) and his team Clare Dove (professional songwriter) & James Wallace (professional producer) who created a wonderful original song with lyrics written by another junior doctor, Sanju Arianayagam. The anthem was named "Yours", because that's what the NHS has always been and what we strongly believe it should continue to be.
