The QMUL-based International Health and Political Economy of Health (IHPEH) research group invites everyone to an exciting FREE series of Global Health lectures OPEN TO ALL on defending the right to health, starting on Thursday 9th Feb:

"The Cuban Health System: defending the right to health in times of economic hardship"
Dr Pol de Vos is an expert in public health policies, health services organization and health sector reform in Latin America. He is currently working at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp-Belgium, coordinating the Postgraduate course in Tropical Medicine and International Health. Over the last 20 years he has published extensively on international health policy issues and on the Cuban health system.
