Come and join us in this fascinating talk by Dr Robin Carhart-Harris, the first scientist in over 40 years to test LSD on humans.
Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris has been conducting pioneering and revolutionary brain imaging studies of psychedelic drugs at Imperial College. Most recently, he has completed the first phase of a clinical trial looking at the potential of psilocybin to treat depression, and his talk looks at how these drugs can be used in treatment. He has given talks at TED and other universities around the UK but this is his first time at Barts. Do not miss this unique opportunity to come and hear about his controversial research and how these drugs have the potential to revolutionise the treatments for psychiatric conditions.
This talk is part of a collaborative series of lectures organised together with QMBL Neurosoc and Barts and the London Psychiatry Society
