The Past and Future of Life Sciences – 25 February 2016

An evening event held by the LSI with the Museum to explore the past and future of the life sciences. Showcasing specimens from the Museum including the skeleton of Joseph Merrick, examples of the shocking effect of radium pellets used to treat a rodent ulcer, Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumours and more, the event will show how significant advances have been made in this field and outline QMUL’s vision of the future of life sciences.
The event will include an interactive element using smartphone technology and will be followed by a drinks reception.
