The Barts and the London Rare Diseases Society has collaborated with Genomics England to offer Barts medical students an opportunity to work on the 100,000 Genomes Project. This is a paid role (£13p/h) and we are looking for dedicated students who will be required to examine patient clinical notes and extract relevant information for use in the programme. Preference is given to those in clinical years but it is open for interest for pre-clinical students as well.
It is a fantastic chance to get involved with a pioneering NHS project that will put the UK at the forefront of genomic medicine. The timescale is from now until the end of August and we expect that students will be able to dedicate at least a few days a week to work on the project. If you are interested or require any further information, please email the Rare Diseases Society with your name and year of study to blrarediseases@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Best wishes, BL Rare Diseases Society Comments are closed.
