Congratulations to all of you who passed your first module! Well done.
However, if you, unfortunately, did not do so well and did not manage to pass the ICA - don't worry. We can help you.
Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) is a CONFIDENTIAL, ONE-TO-ONE TUTORING service for 1st and 2nd years that have failed their ICAs. We've been running for four years now and we've had great success with our previous cohort of students, which allowed us to publish our results in a leading medical education journal.
If you have failed the ICA, we will pair you up with a tutor from the years above and you will meet ONCE A WEEK, for up to two hours, EVERY WEEK. You will meet your tutor every week until the end of year exams, ensuring that you are always on track with your work.
If you have failed FunMed or CR/MET please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, and a screenshot of your ICA RESULTS - with breakdown by paper. (Please note that we check your results with the School so please do not apply with false results just for extra help).
We will consider students who've just passed overall in their low 50s, depending on the availability of our tutors. If unsure, email email@example.com with your breakdown.
