It is with great pleasure and on behalf of the rest of the team that I invite you to the 3rd edition of Pint of Science – QMBL happening on the 23-25th of May 2016!
The international, three day Pint of Science festival will see thousands of scientists simultaneously standing up and talking about their research in the pubs of 100 cities across 12 countries around the world.
Pint of Science is run by volunteers and it is a non-profit organization that aims to provide a platform to allow people to discuss research with the people who carry it out, in a fun, engaging and approachable way by hosting the talks in pubs.
The events are aimed to the public who have an interest in knowing what’s going on in science research, but who do not have a background in it. Hence, talks will be jargon-free.
The QMBL chapter of the festival brings a unique lineup of talks given by excellent QMBL scientists, so come join us to learn and discuss about gravitational waves, genomic medicine, hip cells implant, psychology of romantic attraction… and much more!
Events will be held in 4 London pubs, every evening, over the 3 days of the festival, according to the theme:
BEAUTIFUL MIND (neurosciences, psychology, psychiatry) Events from 7pm at THE GREEN, 29 Clerkenwell green, EC1R 0DU
