This 2 day course is mainly aimed at students who have recently intercalated a BSc degree and who would like to refresh their memory of the most clinically important and relevant topics from their first 2 years of study.
We will cover the most clinically relevant topics from your preclinical studies. This includes anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, neuroscience and ethics & law. Each session will be 1 h long and we will teach 3 most important topics from each subject that will help you to ace your clinicals.
We will also deliver a mini-series of 'Ace the Clinical Exams'. Each session will be 15 mins long and will cover the top tips for succeeding in exams as a clinical student. We will also give advice on what you can do from early on to get your ideal job as a Foundation Year doctor.
We particularly welcome medical students who have recently intercalated a degree (3rd and 4th years in most medical schools). However, students in 1st and 2nd years of medical school are also welcome to join in and we can advise which sessions will be most relevant to you!
