Below is information from the medical school about a medical education event for GP tutors. It is on 7th July from 10-11.30am at the Garrod building. Students have an opportunity to attend this and talk about their experiences on GP placements and give feedback, in order to improve experiences on GP placements. Lunch is provided as well as a certificate of attendance and a book token.
We are running a training event for GP tutors on that day and would like some student representatives to talk about your experience on your GP placement. We will give you a summary of the student feedback from the year so you will not just be talking about your own experience.
We would like student as a group to speak for a few minutes about the feedback on the module you have completed. We would also like student representation at each of the workshops as well as contributing to the plenary discussion on the day. We are particularly keen to hear from students who were part of the Balint group pilot this year.
This will be an opportunity for you to find out about the primary care curriculum for the 5 years of the MBBS curriculum and to give a student voice on proposed changes.
In addition to providing you with lunch, we will pay your travel expenses (within UK only), give you a certificate of attendance and a book token.
If you are interested in medical education and/or primary care and would like to attend please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and she will send you further information.
