Have you been cycling for more than 3 years?
Do you cycle for 1 hour, 3-4 times a week?
Do you eat a mixed diet (vegetables, meat and dairy)?
If you have answered YES to all 4 of the above questions, then we would appreciate your help with our study.
Starting NOW at QMUL (Queen Mary University, London) we are conducting a study looking at whether a vegetarian diet offers any advantage over a mixed diet on exercise performance.
What do you have to do?
Attend our research laboratory 3 times approximately 2 weeks apart
Follow a prescribed diet for 2 weeks at a time
Perform a time trial on a fixed bike expending 500 kilocalories with gas analysis
What’s in it for me?
Detailed report of your performance – including gas analysis results
Analysis of carbohydrate, protein and fat utilisation through your test Measurements of height, weight and blood pressure
