Students for Kids International Projects (SKIP) supports the health, welfare and education of some of the world’s most vulnerable and impoverished children. SKIP has several branches across the UK, including a branch here at Barts and The London.

Our current project is in Nagpur, the centre of India. Our volunteers spend 2 weeks in the area every summer running fun and interactive sessions in local schools. They teach young children about hand hygiene and the older students about sexual health and puberty. Often this is the only chance the students have to learn and ask questions about these topics, so our volunteers really do have a huge impact on their lives.

So if you are looking for an exciting, unique way to spend your Summer holidays this year and want to make a real difference to young people`s lives then you have found the right society for you.

We will hold an info evening this term where you can find out more about the project and how to get involved. Like and follow our Facebook page to keep up to date with our events this year.
