Student Led Project

Do you have a brand new idea for a cause that you are passionate about, but don’t know where to start?

Introducing a brand new initiative in making your idea into a reality. Students will have the freedom to explore their own interests in planning their own volunteering projects based on their own terms. Students will pick a charity/ NGO that they would like to support and have the responsibility of planning a volunteering activity to support them. The activity can range from reading programmes with children, holding a board game session within an elderly home, cooking for the needy and etc. There is no limit to the type of volunteering activity so students are encouraged to be as creative as possible. The duration of this project is flexible so it can range from one-off to a few months, as long as it is time bound within the current academic year. Besides that, students will also be supported by the Volunteering officer and the SU volunteering team.
