This course, now in its eighth year, is designed to enable prospective AFP candidates to get their top-choice academic post.
The course will take place in central London and start at 9am, concluding at 5pm on Saturday September 8th, 2018. The first session identifies and develops the skills needed to get shortlisted - including how to choose a programme and how to answer the white space questions and develop your CV. In the sessions before and after lunch, attention turns to the knowledge-base that underpins successful interview. In the session after tea, delegates receive interview training in groups undertaken by current and former AFP doctors.
The ticket price is £90 and will cover light refreshments. In order to keep costs down, there is no lunch provided as we feel you can access much better value alternatives a short walk from the venue. An early bird discount is available - ticket price £65 - if you book by midnight on 11 August 2018.
This year the delegate count is restricted to 24 candidates - in order to ensure that there is more personalised feedback and support for the interview practice.
