With over 3,400 students…

…at Barts and The London, it is important that we reach out to as many of our students as possible to include them in student life here. We have over 23 sports clubs, 88 societies, and 10 volunteering groups, so we have a real community… however it can be difficult to reach everyone! Below we have collated some helpful tips on advertising for student groups, as well as how external sources can apply to advertise to our students. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

Advertising for external organisations

External groups, organisations and companies can advertise to our students in the following ways. Some of these are free, others come with a charge.

  • Free advertisement in the BL Bulletin.
    The Bulletin is the BLSA’s weekly newsletter that is sent via email to all Barts and The London students. This includes Dental, Global Health, Medical, Neuroscience and Pharmacology & Innovative Therapeutics students as well as Post-Graduates.
    You can request to advertise at the bottom of the email in our external updates section free of charge.
    Use this form to request such an advertisement.

  • Highlighted advertisement in the BL Bulletin.
    The Bulletin is the BLSA’s weekly newsletter that is sent via email to all Barts and The London students. This includes Dental, Global Health, Medical, Neuroscience and Pharmacology & Innovative Therapeutics students as well as Post-Graduates.
    You can have a promoted and highlighted advertisement in the main body of our bulletin. This comes at a small charge.

  • Advertise on our official BLSA Social Media.
    We can post your advert on our social media, which includes Instagram (over 2000 followers), Facebook (over 3600 followers) or Twitter (over 390 followers).

  • Advertise on our Facebook Groups.
    External groups can advertise in our individual Facebook Groups to target specific students. This comes at a charge.
