Hello and welcome to Barts and The London!
We're Barts and The London Students' Association (BLSA) and we represent all students studying at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (including Medical, Dental, Global Public Health, Neurosciences and Pharmacology & Innovative Therapeutic students as well as many Post-Grads). We're a student run organisation dedicated to improving the student experience whether that be through hosting events, supporting student groups, running campaigns or liaising with the University to raise your concerns. Student life, events, sports, activities, some welfare services and Freshers Fortnight do however come under the remit of BLSA and information on these elements can be found below or throughout this website.

Accommodation
QMUL Residences offer accommodation to most students joining Barts and The London for the first time. Such students can choose between 2 halls of residence, each with a variety of room types. Although BLSA do not run accommodation, we have compiled some useful information for you all nonetheless:
*For lectures in Whitechapel, which most are for medics, dentists and Global Health. Teaching for neuroscience is mainly based in Mile End and Whitechapel with some teaching in Barbican. Teaching for pharmacology & Innovative Therapeutics is mainly based in Mile End and Barbican with some teaching in Whitechapel.
Physiology and anatomy teaching is in Mile End (15-20min walk from Floyer, 25min tube from Dawson). Clinical and Examination skills teaching is in West Smithfield (5min walk from Dawson, 30-40min walk from Floyer).
Whichever housing you choose, our BLSA Help Squad will help you move and settle in come September!
